"It  has risen from the dead,  for
it conquered death with death"
Towards Easter 2000

Accidents never happen, they say. It was no accident that this speck of land in the middle of nowhere was discovered at Easter time in 1722 and was named such by a Dutch explorer. In effect, it has been successfully resurrected from the dead, only to puzzle bewildered humanity to this day. We are told that this island did eventually end up in the abyss of the Pacific together with the continent of which it is but the mountain top, only to re-appear on its surface again at the expense of some low-lying region  in Canada, which "sank" (sacrificed itself?) at the time so that this peculiar remnant of the past could "pop up" and insult with its presence the "intelligence" of those human races that were yet to come.

"Te Pito O Te Henua" (the navel of the world) is also a name of this island. In the ancient tradition the place has always been known as the cradle of humanity which leads us towards intriguing answers as to its origin, purpose and place in the troubled history of the "lost tribe of Israel" - the homo-almost-sapiens. The very look of Rapa Nui  with its triangular shape and 3 volcanos stuck in each corner symbolizes and resembles the Unity of Trinity. What a coincidence that this huge continent, of which Easter island is but a tiny remnant, used to house the third, Cyclopean race, the first physical human one upon this planet.

Dinosaurs have shrunk since those days to become modern lizards, humans too have shrunk from 30 to 6 feet and less. Some continue their descent before our very eyes. An ever seeing "third eye" of the Cyclopes has disappeared too, descending deep into the skulls of men today.Carelessly abused in the past by its possessors it is patiently waiting there in safe surroundings to be lawfully re-discovered and rightfully used at some later date of human evolution, when not only in reason but in a moral sense too man will grow, becoming thus a lesser menace to himself.

It is to remind people yet again of their origin, ancestry and heritage (good or bad) that we went to Rapa Nui. This was the land of the first folly of the U-man kind - descent into the abyss of Substance at the cost of losing contact with the Essence. Putting undue emphasis on Form over Life, which successfully resulted in the worst examples of rampaging materialism that this planet has ever witnessed, is the direct result of that first "fall" so far. How much further do our minds have to shrink to make us totally incapable of distinguishing Reality from llusion? That you will have to work out for yourselves.
